Infant Baptism
Frequently asked questions:
We want to have our baby baptized at GLC, what do we do first?
Congratulations! Baptism of a baby is a beautiful tradition in the Christian Church. But there is more to it than just tradition. It is a time to welcome your child into the Christian faith, and promise in front of a congregation of your intent to raise your child in the faith.
To start this Tradition:
Begin to worship regularly at Grace
Attend a Baptism Workshop
Schedule a Baptism date
What are our roles as parents and caring adults ?
During the baptism, parents and sponsors (God parents) will be asked to make the following promise: Will you faithfully bring your child to worship, teach him/her the Lords Prayer, the creeds, the Ten Commandments, place in his/her hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for his/her instruction in the Christian faith?
Do you baptize older children?
Yes, we often have the privilege to baptize older children. Usually a pastor or staff member works individually with the child to prepare them for baptism. We recommend that parents attend the baptism workshop. We Baptize adults too. Please see the Adult Baptism page

Beginning Wednesday, September 14, Rockin’ Kids Bible Club from 6:30-8p.m, kids age 3 through Grade 5 are invited to share in a dynamic evening as we meet Bible Heroes and explore God’s Word with story, music, craft, games, and prayer.
What will the evening look like?
- Rock IT UP – We open the evening together with cool music that gets us moving and an interactive story about a Bible Hero.
- Unpack IT – We will dig into the story and see how God’s Word applies to our everyday lives.
- Rotate IT – We will express our faith through different stations. Our stations include a weekly music station where we will be learning songs that we can share in worship, and an activity station that could be crafts, games, or service projects.

- Rock IT OUT – We end the evening together with music, a wrap up, blessing, and sending forth. Parents and adults are invited to join us at 7:50 each week to experience this with your child.
Volunteers are needed for small group leaders, crafts, games, tech, service projects, and the ever popular malt night! Please sign up on the Rockin’ Kids Bible Club Registration.

Infants & Toddlers
(Birth to three years old)
Nursery is offered each week during our Saturday 5 p.m. Worship Service and our Sunday 9 and 10:20 a.m. Worship Services. In the infant/Toddler Room (Nursery), we surround your child in a loving, safe, caring, Christ-centered environment. As your child enters the Infant/Toddler Room, he/she will have a chance to explore and play, learn and grow.
Our time together includes:
Play Time - This is an opportunity for the children to play, try new things, and just have fun as we learn to share with our friends.
Story and Craft - Each week, we will gather on our rug for a Bible Story and move to the table to do a coloring sheet or simple toddler craft.
Music - We will "Make a Joyful Noise" during our music time. We will use rhythm instruments, have a parade, clap and stomp. |

SONday School is offered on Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 9am and 10:20am. This program is for children ages 3 years through 5th grade. Registration forms are available at church or online. (Click below)
In our SONday School ministry, we enjoy partnering with families to nurture and strengthen children’s faith. We believe that faith development starts in the home, and we want to journey with families in this process. We use a curriculum model that focuses on the same Scripture lessons our congregation hears during worship each weekend. This way, everyone in the family is learning the same thing! It’s a great way for families to connect and to discuss their faith journey throughout the upcoming week.
SONday School is offered on Saturday nights and Sunday morning (see schedule below). We have a wonderful team of teachers and a great curriculum that together, help kids explore their faith through interactive activities and games, colorful lessons, creative projects and engaging music!

We recognize birthdays once a month in large group. Your child can bring in a penny for each year old they are to put in our Birthday Bank (This money goes to Feed My Starving Children). We sing to them and then they get to pick a prize from the treasure chest! We will celebrate 3 year old - Kindergarten the 1st Sunday of every month, and 1st - 5th grade the 2nd Sunday of every month.
