One of the great joys for us at Grace is helping people who are seeking to be married. We celebrate God's love that brings two people together and leads to a life long commitment to share the challenges, as well as the joys of life. God created marriage as the basic building block of community, and the chief instrument to nurture and grow his love in people's lives. Therefore, we are committed to helping people build strong God-centered marriages, where families can grow and thrive.

Weddings at Grace

We celebrate that God has led you to the decision to be married. At Grace, we welcome the opportunity to help you in one of the most important moments in your life. In order to be married at Grace it is not necessary that you be a member of our church and/or from a Lutheran background. We are committed to helping people build strong God-centered marriages where families can grow and thrive.

What are the steps for be married at Grace?

All couples who are married at Grace must take the PREPARE Marriage Inventory and meet with an assigned Mentor Couple to help grow in understanding the strengths and growth areas of their relationship.

PrePair Premarriage Retreat

Couples planning to get married at Grace must participate in the PrePair Premarriage Retreat held in January. Couples will discuss the foundation for building a healthy and lasting marriage relationship. The next Premarriage Retreat is scheduled for:

January 13/14, 2012

Friday, 7pm to 9pm and Saturday, 8:30am to 3pm at Grace Lutheran.

Marriage Counseling is done at Grace’s PrePair Marriage Retreat that is held in January. The retreat begins on Friday evening for a two hour discussion with various “well-seasoned” couples from Grace who share their experiences in building a strong marriage. On Saturday, the pastors teach the biblical concepts of marriage and help couples understand how to build their marriage with God at the center.

Meet with a Wedding Coordinator who will lead the couple through the various steps of planning and preparation for the wedding.

Cost: $475 (covers services of: a wedding coordinator, pastor, organist or pianist, sound technicians, and custodians). A deposit of $250 is required to reserve a wedding date. Bulletins may also be produced for an additional charge.
