Love makes all the difference

Let me ask you: What children has God placed in your life on a regular basis? Whom has he entrusted to your care and influence? What a wonderful world it would be if every child was loved, protected and nourished by the adults in his or her life. Every child needs to have at least one person who loves him or her unconditionally.
How it must grieve the Lord to know that millions of the world's poorest children face a lifetime of suffering and hardship. They receive little or no education, suffer from hunger and poor health and are often left to fend for themselves for long hours each day. Many have never learned about their Heavenly Father who loves them so much.
God can use you to help a child, through child sponsorship. Compassion International is a Christian child development ministry with more than 50 years of experience in releasing children from poverty and transforming lives in Jesus Name, by partnering with more than 3,500 local Christian churches, in 24 nations, representing 60 denominations worldwide. Every sponsored child is connected with a local church-based program where he or she will be loved, valued and protected. The child you help will hear the gospel and be given the opportunity to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Many sponsored children become Christians and even lead their families to Christ. More than 100,000 children involved in Compassion programs last year alone received Christ as their Savior. Praise God!
As a Compassion sponsor you can become a special friend to an impoverished child living in a developing country. You will be personally linked with a boy or girl who will know your name, write to you, pray for you and treasure the thought that you care.
